Created by Charlene M. Proctor, Ph.D., Patriot Ballroom is the biggest independent dance studio in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Its purpose is to empower dancers, students, and fitness professionals by providing them with the best dance floor and music for competition training and practice within a beautiful environment.

 

Patriot Ballroom’s 6,000+ square foot state-of-the-art ballroom dance facility is conveniently located on Huron Street (M-59) in Waterford, Michigan, between Voorheiss and Telegraph.  We are across the street from Kennedy’s Irish Pub.

Our professional floor is 48 x 73 (3,500 square feet) with 73' of lineal mirror, with a professional sound system and large projection screen. We have a large reception area, front desk, ADA compliant restrooms, kitchen/break room, trophy bar, two entrances, a dance office and VIP lounge, and generous parking. We can host up to 120 people in our building

 

We primarily focus on private dance lessons, competition dance training, guest coaching, ballroom dance workshops, competition practice rounds, group classes, and a twice a year Pro Am Showcase event. We have instructors teaching all styles of dance, including Wedding Couple dance. We offer Friday night social dance parties, which always include a prior group class.

 

We are always interested in hosting programs that teach constitutional awareness, civics, uplifting consciousness, and how to restore liberty and freedom to our nation.
